World Book Day
5th March 2009

Back by popular demand is our poster competition for local primary schoolchildren. Design a poster for your favourite book. Entries close on 27th February, ask your school whether they are taking part. Three age categories: Years R-2, Years 3 & 4 and Years 5 & 6. Top three posters in each category get a gift voucher and the overall winner gets £100 voucher for his or her school. All entries will be displayed at Haslemere Museum.

Murder Mystery Event
20th - 29th May 2009

Being run in conjunction with Woolmer Hill School part of the Haslemere Festival. A prominent member of the community's days are numbered! Be the first to solve the crime and a prize awaits!

Independent Booksellers Week
15th - 22nd June 2009

We will be taking part in Independent Booksellers' Week, which is being organised by the Booksellers Association (BA) - the national trade association for booksellers. It is a celebration of the passion and dedication demonstrated by independent bookshops across the country. Haslemere Food Festival
